Hey there! Welcome!

So glad you’re here!

I’m Amy Williams, founder of Felt Sense Psychotherapy. Perhaps this is the beginning of your trauma healing journey, or maybe you’re years into your path! Thank you for being here and taking this brave first (or next) step!

Healing can be messy and feel uncertain at times. Understanding how your body works is a crucial step in making your healing journey easier to navigate.

My goal is to help guide you back home to your body so that you can feel whole again.

Feel free to take a look around, check out some blogs, and see what resonates for you. I’m only one message away, and can’t wait to support you in reconnecting with yourself as you find ease and safety within.

You are not broken.

Trauma happens where there’s a breakdown in your body's protective survival responses. As a result, you can end up feeling stuck, constantly reliving the past.

The good news is, your body has the ability to heal itself.

I’m here to support you in discovering how.

Felt Sense Psychotherapy is a place for adolescent and adult women ages 16+ to heal trauma, befriend their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and reclaim their lives as their own again.

In case you haven’t heard-

It’s not all in your head.

When the nervous system does not regulate itself after an overwhelming experience, your entire being is impacted. Unresolved physiological distress can lead to an array of other physical, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral symptoms. From sleep to digestion, heart rate to immunity- it’s all connected.

Healing is possible.

Available Services

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy sessions call upon skills and strategies from Somatic Experiencing, Polyvagal Theory, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and positive psychology- among others, to help you identify and meet your goals.

Trauma-Sensitive Yoga & Somatics

Trauma-Sensitive Yoga & Somatics empowers you to notice, be curious, and observe. This repeated process of noticing what is or is not comfortable and making choices according to those observations strengthens your connection to your felt sense.
